Finder is a product of Idcare Digital.
What this site is
An informational website about Finder. It describes the product, documents an installation at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and offers two forms for requesting a demonstration or a quotation. It sells nothing, takes no payment, and hosts no user accounts.
That matters for what follows: this is not an online shop, and the Spanish and European consumer-contract rules that govern distance selling do not apply to it. Nothing on these pages is an offer capable of acceptance. A commercial relationship with Idcare Digital begins with a signed contract, not with a form on a website.
Using the site
You may read these pages, print them, and quote from them with attribution. You may not present the content as your own, use it to train a system to compete with ours, or extract it systematically to build a database.
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, submit the forms automatically, or use them to send anything to third parties.
Accuracy, and what we cannot promise
The product descriptions here are drawn from Idcare Digital’s own commercial documentation and from a real installation. Specifications, availability and pricing can change, and screens change more often than the pages describing them.
We keep this site accurate and correct errors when we find them. We do not promise that every statement is current at the moment you read it, and nothing here replaces a written quotation or a contract.
Some pages are marked as awaiting content. Those markers are deliberate and mean what they say: text or an image is not ready. They are not decoration.
Intellectual property
The Finder software, its interface, this website’s design, text, illustrations and the photographs of installations are the property of Idcare Digital or are used with permission. The Idcare Digital name and mark are the company’s.
Third-party material appears in a few specific places and belongs to its owners:
-
The ENS conformity mark shown on the home page is the official mark of Spain’s National Security Framework. It is reproduced as issued, unaltered, to indicate the declaration described in the accessibility and security sections. It is not ours.
-
Photographs taken at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, including photographs of library staff, are published with authorisation. The library, its collection and its building are the university’s.
-
The names of library management systems mentioned generically remain the trademarks of their proprietors, and their appearance here implies no endorsement in either direction.
-
Catalogue records shown in the demonstration on the home page are examples chosen to illustrate how a search behaves. They are not a statement about any library’s holdings. Book titles and their authors are named as works, not as anyone’s property claim.
Links
Where this site links elsewhere, we do not control that destination and are not responsible for it. If you find a link that has gone somewhere it should not, tell us at info@idcaredigital.com.
You may link to this site. Please link to a page rather than framing it inside another site, and please do not imply a relationship that does not exist.
Liability
We provide this site with reasonable care. To the extent Spanish law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, from its temporary unavailability, or from a decision taken solely on the basis of a description on it rather than on a quotation.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Security
Idcare Digital holds a declaration of conformity with Spain’s National Security Framework (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad), basic category, under Royal Decree 311/2022. The mark is shown on the home page and the declaration route is what that category provides for; the medium and high categories require third-party certification instead.
[TO CONFIRM: the scope of the declaration and its date. A declaration of conformity covers a defined information system, and the scope is what a public-sector procurement officer will ask for. The site currently states the category and the decree, which is accurate, but the scope belongs in the answer to a tender rather than being implied here.]
This website itself is a static site: it has no database, no accounts and stores no personal data. See the privacy policy.
Applicable law
Spanish law governs this notice. Where the law allows the parties to choose, the courts of [TO CONFIRM: the company’s registered seat — the jurisdiction clause should name it] have jurisdiction. Where a rule of consumer protection or a mandatory rule of your own country gives you a different forum, that rule prevails over this paragraph.
